Laboratory
Since 2013, with Wuhan Textile University, Wuhan TOSTRONG jointly organized “WTU & TOSTRONG Textile
Laboratory”, which is self-contained with all kinds of textile printing and dyeing equipment and enough testing and
R & D staff. Professor Lu Bitai form WTU is invited to be in charge of the laboratory.
After receiving the sample, we will make use of advanced laboratory instruments, such as spectral color
measurement instrument, light fastness instrument, Tensile strength tester, to test the color, light fastness, tensile
fastness, rubbing fastness etc. of the sample. After getting complete test report, our sample along with the report
will be sent to the customer to confirm. We always strive to produce what is the same with the customers’ sample
so that customers are satisfied with the products.
Except for some routine testing work, our focus is on additional functions of textiles, such as research on
waterproof materials, development of anti-mosquito auxiliary and so on. Professor Lu has been committed to the
“development of schistosoma-preventing clothing ". Once he succeeds, this technology will be applied to our
corresponding products.
Before Professor Lu did a number of studies, for instance, in 2011, Professor Lu’s team found the presence of
potential harm for health in treatment agent. At present, researches are done to develop healthier and more
harmless textile auxiliaries. These are what our laboratory team has been committed to.
In addition, because our current main products are still accoutrements and uniforms for army and police, we have
done corresponding studies on how to make them easier for police to use and more durable. For example, at the
beginning our accouterments are hand-stitched; but after continuous improvements, mould pressing process is used,
greatly improving work efficiency, and making the product more firm and durable. In terms of material, we explore
more light materials and use them in tactical vest, which greatly reduce the load of soldiers, but security remaining
unchanged.
